The music doesn’t get buried in the algorithms, but rather every song gets the same chances for success.
After a few months of being in private beta and testing the MVP functions, Freecords has finally opened up for the public and everyone can freely register and upload their songs.
The goal with the platform is for the listeners to promote the songs they like, bringing more people to Freecords while exposing the newly discovered music to their friends.
Through their business segment of providing music to businesses, they are able to pay out the artists for their uploads.
Freecords charge a 15% commission, so artists get 85% of our earnings, and since they don’t charge anything for the uploads themself, they can largely benefit from being on the platform.
In the near future, Freecords will be launching many services that will help artists to focus on the music, while we handle everything else, including supplying their music and being heard by as many people as possible.
