iHeartRadio and National Public Radio Announce Streaming Partnership
iHeartMedia has forged a new partnership with National Public Radio that promises a hefty new distribution platform for NPR’s members stations and provides an injection of new content for iHeartRadio’s subscribers.
The new deal will allow more than 260 NPR member stations to add their live News Talk programming to iHeartRadio, which streams to 85 million registered users across 80 unique device platforms, according to the digital media company (iHeartRadio also boasts more than a billion app downloads).
