Loton, Corp Partners with Delivery Agent to Bring Digital Commerce to Streaming Music Service LiveXLive
Loton, Corp’s LiveXLive subsidiary has entered into a partnership with Delivery Agent, the market leader in turning audiences into customers for the world’s leading brands, to enable contextual commerce within the live stream of San Francisco’s biggest summer music festival, Outside Lands, taking place August 5 — August 7, 2016.
Delivery Agent provides digital commerce solutions across a multitude of devices and platforms for a portfolio of partners including media companies, music labels, CE and streaming device manufacturers, and brand advertisers. Delivery Agent’s proprietary commerce platform enables contextual product mapping to entertainment content, delivering the right product at the right time to audiences across connected devices.
The LiveXLive partnership will leverage Delivery Agent’s Outside Lands contextual product mapping capabilities across the various channels fans can stream the festival.
“This partnership marks the first steps in executing our brand merchandising strategy and demonstrates our ability to monetize festival and music related content on our platform,” said Robert Ellin, LiveXLive Founder and Chairman.
“Delivery Agent’s role is to take the friction out of purchasing products inspired by entertainment content from programs to ads to live music,” said Mike Fitzsimmons, Delivery Agent CEO. “We’re thrilled to partner with LiveXLive to bring their fan base a shopping experience that’s an integrated extension of their viewing experience — across all connected devices.”
Since its inaugural live stream event in May 2016, Outside Lands has worked with some of the biggest names in alternative rock, classic rock, rap and hip hop, R&B, indie folk, country and electronica.
