Spotify Adds Music Videos for Subscribers in 11 Countries
For now, this is just a beta test in 11 countries: the UK, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Brazil, Colombia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Kenya. It will also only be available to Spotify’s premium subscribers in those countries.
Where a track has a music video available, listeners will be able to tap a button on Spotify’s ‘Now Playing’ screen to switch to the video (and then back to the audio). They will also be able to turn their phone to watch videos in full-screen mode.
